About Claudia
My name is Claudia, and I am a fashion designer with a strong background in sewing, garment construction, and creative development. I have hands-on experience in both academic and industry settings, which has helped me build a well-rounded understanding of fashion design from concept to final product.
Throughout my studies and experience in fashion, I have worked on a variety of projects that strengthened both my technical abilities and creative thinking. I take pride in being patient, detail-oriented, and approachable, and I enjoy helping students build confidence as they learn. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing their skills step by step.

My lessons in sewing and fashion design are tailored to each student’s skill level, goals, and creative interests. I focus on building strong foundational skills in sewing techniques, garment construction, and basic pattern understanding, while also encouraging creativity and personal design development. I aim to make each lesson clear, structured, and hands-on so students can learn by doing and build confidence as they progress.
A typical lesson may include sewing machine basics, stitching techniques, fabric handling, pattern reading, or working on individual design projects from concept to finished piece. It truly depends on the needs/wants of the student! I also incorporate fashion illustration and creative development when appropriate, helping students understand the full design process. My lessons are suitable for beginners as well as intermediate students who want to strengthen their technical skills or develop their own fashion ideas in a supportive and professional learning environment.

Deadly! Claudia is so patient and understanding, and she made me feel right at home in the studio. She is such an amazing teacher and I went from being completely intimidated by the sewing machine to actually knowing how to thread it and confidently start using on my own. She explains every step clearly and breaks down the tricky parts so they are easy to grasp. I can't recommend her enough!
Deadly! Claudia communicated with me in a timely manner, showed up ready and was able to help me with my sewing goals. She is an amazing tutor and i would HIGHLY recommend!! Great to be around.
