About Sharan
I am a FIDE rated player having 1647 as a rating. I have extensive experience in this field from meeting various people and gaining knowledge and sharing knowledge. I have worked in two academies in India and have trained 200+ students by providing feedback to them after each class. I have also won a state championship in 2016 competing with around 500 people around the state. Further, due to an infinite interest, I have also written the arbiter exam and cleared the Senior National Arbiter in January 2023, further establishing my understanding of rules and regulations in Chess. I have led my school and college team to win Gold and silver respectively in interzonal competition. I was a Vice President at Coventry University during my education. I was also the head of the team deciding committee for zonal competitions.

My teaching methods are very unique. I train the students at all ages and levels ranging from beginner, intermediate and advanced. My lessons are structured in such a way that a beginner with no knowledge of chess gets interested in the game and will be very curious to know more about the game and its rules. I have trained 200+ students who have achieved FIDE ratings later in their career. At the end of each class, I will be giving feedback and homework on the lessons taught that day. This gives the student a thorough understanding of each and every lesson. And students can reach out to me any time regarding any queries or doubts regarding chess. I will be very happy to guide them.

Deadly! Sharan has been exceptional. He is flexible and interested in finding a suitable time that works for both parties. So far my son is grasping the concept of chess and is excited about knowing more. This is mostly down to Sharan's style of teaching.
