About Anna
I am a passionate film student, who moved to London in 2019. I lived all my life in Moscow and studied at an Art School there, as well as playing in the theatre. I always enjoyed languages and literature, and I want to be a writer myself.
Moving to London was quite difficult for me in terms of having to learn the language very quickly, so I completely understand how important it is to have someone to support you.
As I mentioned before, I love Russian literature and I will be very happy to introduce you to some of the most famous books as part of the lessons. Back in Moscow I always had the highest grades in Russian and Russian Literature, and I achieved an A* in Russian at A Level in London.
It doesn't matter what the reason for learning Russian is, I hope I can make the learning process pleasant and enjoyable for you.

We will first cover the basics of the language (the alphabet, basic grammar, the pronunciation, and written 'cursive' Russian). Then, depending on the reason why you want to learn Russian we will concentrate on either the exam preparation, speaking or anything else that you would consider most useful to you.
I understand how difficult it can be to pronounce certain letters, and it is not a problem at all to make mistakes in my lesson! I will constantly come up with different exercises to practice your reading, listening and conversational skills, and at a more advanced level will introduce you to the Russian literature and cinema.
I believe that practice is key in learning the language, so I would generally spend half of the lesson on speaking (any topic of your choice) and the other half of the lesson on grammar, but again, depending on your preferences the approach will be different.
