About Selasi
Currently a final year student studying Software Engineering in Nottingham Trent University with a real passion for making maths enjoyable and accessible. Also studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University of Nottingham, HL Maths for International Baccalaureate at Dartford Grammar and got A* and A in Maths and Additional Maths at GCSE.
I got into tutoring as a way to build my confidence in maths as well as in my friends and younger siblings who I've taught in the past. Outside of studying/teaching maths, I am a music producer and multi-sport enthusiast, most recently American football, so I know how important it is to bring energy, creativity and teamwork into everything I do! I'm very approachable, patient, and here to make sure you feel comfortable asking questions. Really all I want is for maths to feel less like a chore and more like a skill worth mastering!

My tutoring focuses on making maths accessible and enjoyable through structured but flexible gamified learning. Each lesson will begin with a warm-up, followed by concept explanation and quick assessment to gauge strengths and weaknesses. There will be guided/independent practice which will end in a recap. I tailor lessons to student strengths and adjust pace as needed to ensure thorough understanding
