About Tiago

I was born in Almada and I live in Charneca de Caparica, on the South Bank of Lisbon, and from an early age I always had a fondness for economic approaches, the economic aspect of politics and finance. I entered the degree in Economics at the Higher Institute of Economics and Management (ISEG) of the University of Lisbon with a final high school average of 17 and in which I managed to learn seriously what it is to study (and do) economics and economic policy, in addition to the knowledge which I also obtained in other areas such as finance, financial management and sociology.

I am currently finishing my degree, with a current average rounded to 17 values and I have also entered the Masters in Finance at ISEG, intending to expand my knowledge in the areas of Financial Markets, M&A, Derivatives, Equity Research and Corporate Finance and to develop myself professionally as an investment analyst.

I have always been guided by values such as perseverance, proactivity and team spirit and mutual help, so I believe that we must be rigorous when it comes to achieving our goals and we must fight for them, while at the same time it is not healthy to adopt a position that is too competitive, we must also help others and share knowledge among all, as we all stand to gain from this and obtain comparative advantages.

This was reflected in several things I accomplished:
- I was part of an association of my faculty (ISEG Young Economics Society) for 2 years and 3 months (where I was director of the Tax Policy department for a year and where team spirit was the key value in our development, as the various departments cooperated to develop newspapers and magazines on current issues, case studies, events with guest speakers, dynamic videos, etc...);
- I studied an ERASMUS semester in Warsaw, Poland, where I experienced the best months of my life. I met many people from different countries, had fun with
them, I improved my English and took the opportunity to visit some nearby countries (Czech Republic, Latvia and Hungary);
- I have already volunteered;
- held several extra-curricular courses and workshops;
- I was Public Relations of a Finalists Trip where I had 18 subscribers through my route.

I love personal development and achieving my goals, but I love being able to help others achieve theirs too!

About the lesson

I am flexible, committed and my classes are based on methodology, organization, relaxation and proximity!

The purpose of the classes depends on the student's goals:
- If you want to learn the contents from scratch, I can prepare a presentation or detailed document with the subject, comments and explanations;
- If you want to solve specific doubts, we can discuss the questions you consider difficult, explain them, provide auxiliary documents and solve typical exam exercises.

I am able to adapt to the needs of each one, as we are all different and learn in different ways. I establish a methodology of classes according to the needs of the student and what he wants.

As a final year economics student, I can provide assistance in the areas/disciplines below (possibly also open to others related but not listed).
