About Aaron
Hi, I'm Aaron. I'm a First Class Computer Science and AI graduate, and the founder of Qemplate, a quiz platform used by over 80,000 users, and Keptt, a shared memories app live on the app store! I've spent years building technology that people genuinely enjoy using, and I bring the same energy and care to my teaching.
My teaching approach
My golden rule is that you learn by doing, not by watching me talk. Lessons are hands-on from the first minute. In computer science, you'll be writing real code. In maths and the sciences, you'll be working through problems yourself while I guide you, identify the gaps, and show you the techniques that earn marks in exams.
I break intimidating topics down into small, achievable wins. Nothing builds confidence like getting something working for yourself, so we build on those wins every session. Everything is tailored to you: your syllabus, your exam board, your pace, and the specific concepts that haven't quite clicked yet.
For students who want to go beyond the syllabus, I offer project sessions where you build real websites and applications from scratch. There is no better way to learn to code, and a finished project makes a genuine difference to university applications and CVs.
Lesson structure and length
Lessons are typically one hour, which I find is the sweet spot for sustained focus. Longer sessions of 90 minutes to two hours work well for project builds and intensive exam revision. I'm happy to be flexible, and every lesson is planned around what you want to achieve.
My qualifications and experience
I hold a First Class BSc in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bath. Alongside my degree I've built and launched two products used by thousands of people, and I've worked in industry with companies including BT. I've tutored students in programming, maths and the sciences, and I understand both what examiners are looking for and what makes these subjects genuinely exciting rather than a chore.
Who my lessons are for
I teach GCSE, A Level and university students in Computer Science, Maths and the Sciences, as well as anyone who wants to learn to build websites and applications properly. Complete beginners are very welcome, and no prior experience is needed.

Hi, I'm Aaron! I'm a First Class Computer Science & AI graduate and the founder of Qemplate, a quiz platform used by over 80,000 students, and Keptt, a shared memories app. I've spent years making tech that people actually enjoy using, and I bring exactly the same energy to teaching.
How I teach
My golden rule: you learn by doing, not by watching me talk. Lessons are hands-on from minute one. If we're doing comp sci, you'll be writing real code. If it's maths or science, you'll be solving problems yourself while I guide you, spot the gaps, and show you the shortcuts examiners love.
I break big scary topics into small wins. Nothing builds confidence like actually getting something working, so we stack up those wins every single session. I also tailor everything to you: your syllabus, your exam board, your pace, and the specific things your teacher didn't quite explain.
For students who want to go beyond the syllabus, I run project sessions where you build real websites and apps from scratch. There's no better way to learn to code (or to make your uni applications and CV stand out) than shipping something real.
Lesson length
Lessons are typically 1 hour, which I find is the sweet spot for focus. Longer sessions of 1.5 to 2 hours work well for project builds or intensive exam revision, and I'm flexible either way.
My experience
Alongside my degree, I've built and launched real products, worked with companies like BT Group, and tutored students in programming, maths and the sciences. I know what examiners want, and just as importantly, I know what makes tech genuinely exciting rather than a chore.
Who my lessons are for
GCSE, A Level and university students in Computer Science, Maths and the Sciences, plus anyone of any age who wants to learn to code websites and apps for real. Complete beginners are very welcome. If you can send a text, I can teach you to code.
