I like to encorporate different senses in people's learning to maximise their chance of memorising the information and enjoying it at the same time, whether that be visual via reading and writing, verbal via talking and listening, and practical. I like to explain things by making it mean something to the student rather than them adopting the mind state that they need to remember something for a test; if it means something it is easier to remember.
