About Charlie
At my core, I am a passionate scientist. Alongside my academic studies, I spent 4 years working as a Medical Laboratory Assistant, gaining deep real-world insights into biology and healthcare.
My motivation to teach comes from my own high school experience, I found the joy in science because I was lucky enough to have a biology teacher who at her heart cared about the subject. It inspired me to love biology and in turn I want to do the same for others. In University I routinely organised and led group study sessions for my classmates and friends. It was incredibly rewarding it is to help someone unlock a concept they have been struggling with, I felt like I was doing my high school biology teacher justice.
Science can often feel overwhelming due to complex terms and lengthy pathways, my goal is to make it approachable, engaging, and enjoyable. I want to pass on the study strategies, exam techniques, and passion that helped me achieve my own academic goals to the next generation of students, like you!
