As a first-year engineering student, I bring a practical, concept-driven approach to math tutoring, focusing on helping students understand the "why" behind the math rather than just memorizing formulas. I connect abstract concepts to real-world applications, particularly from engineering, to make the material more engaging and relevant. My lessons are interactive, emphasizing active problem-solving, where I guide students through practice problems while ensuring they develop the skills to solve independently. I customize each session based on the student’s specific needs—whether it’s homework help, exam preparation, or a deeper understanding of the subject. Typically, lessons last one hour, but I’m flexible depending on the student’s goals and needs. Although I’m in my first year of engineering studies, I have a strong foundation in math and physics and have tutored peers in these subjects. My lessons are ideal for high school students studying HSC-level math and physics, as well as university students in introductory math or engineering courses.
