About Tuba
My name is Tuba, I'm a first year medical student studying at the University of Leicester. Naturally, this means I have a particular passion for biology, and love to pass on all the tips and tricks I learnt for my A-levels that got me the A*s I needed for medical school.
I've accumulated a lot of hours volunteering as a tutor in the past, for many of the sciences and helping out with medicine admissions, too.
I wouldn't be studying what I do if I didn't enjoy a person-facing role, and I love supporting students in achieving their goals.

I like to adapt my lessons around the students preferences. I always strive ensure my sessions are engaging so I can make my student's time worthwhile. I know my lessons are a success when students truly feel as though they're spending their time productively.
I've tutored during my time at school at a GCSE level, particularly for biology and chemistry. Now as a medic, I also offer A-level tutoring for biology (OCR) and psychology (AQA).
My lessons usually last about an hour, I always plan my lessons using learning objectives taken straight from exam board specifications to make sure students are learning exactly what they need to know. I spare some time at the end for exam questions so students can apply their knowledge, and so we can work through exam technique together.
