About Iryna

I’m a medical student at Keele University. I achieved an A* in A-level Maths and A grades in Biology and Chemistry, as well as grade 8 in all three subjects at GCSE. I have recently completed my A-levels, so I can offer students up-to-date advice based on my own experience with the current courses, exams and revision process. I’m most familiar with OCR A A-level Biology and Chemistry and Edexcel A-level Maths. During year 12 and year 13, I also mentored GCSE Maths students at my school, helping them understand difficult topics, build their confidence and improve their grades. Seeing the progress they made through my support was very rewarding and motivated me to start tutoring. I also had a tutor myself during year 12 who helped me significantly improve my grades going into year 13, which showed me first-hand how valuable the right support can be.

About the lesson

My lessons are focused on more than simply understanding the content. I can help you identify your weaknesses, work through difficult topics, improve your exam techniques and prepare effectively for exams. I’ll adapt each lesson to your individual needs, learning style and goals. Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, aiming for a higher grade, or simply want extra guidance and confidence, we can focus on what will benefit you most. I can also share revision strategies and exam techniques that I found useful when preparing for my exams. Lesson lengths are flexible and can be discussed beforehand, so we can choose duration that works best for you. I am open to tutoring A-level, GCSE, as well as younger students.
