About Victor

I am a guitarist, composer and teacher of Flamenco/Classical/Jazz styles. For many years, I have dedicated myself to teaching guitar classes, combining it with different performances and show creations, performing in countries such as Spain, England, Turkey and Switzerland. I live in Seville, where I've attended and completed the superior studies (in Flamenco) at Eduardo Rebollar's Academy. In Jerez de la Frontera, I studied with International Flamenco guitarists such as Miguel Salado, Niño Jero (Periquín), Juan Diego Mateo... as well as accompanying the dancer (baile) at the academy of dance of Miguel Angel Heredia and "los cernicalos" with the Jerez dancer (bailaora) Ana María Lopez. At an academic level, I've trained in modern guitar and jazz at the “L'Espai Musical” School of Music (Valencia). I have participated in various courses and seminars on flamenco guitar technique and accompaniment to dance with Miguel Pérez and Lidia Valle (Seville) ; Oscar Herrero "Auditori de Torrent" (Valencia); harmony and composition with Rafael Riqueni "SGAE" (Valencia). *Worked as a music teacher at “L'Espai Musical” (Valencia). *Guitar accompaniment for the dancers at the “María Carbonell” Dance Center (Valencia). *Freelancing musician for musical settings and events with VLC Musica (Valencia) *Modern guitar teacher at the “Amb so i art” School of music (Valencia). *At the moment I am working at the famous flamenco tablao in Seville "la carbonería". In 2015 I obtained the AIE scholarship for musical training at the “L'Espai Musical” school in the speciality of modern guitar.

About the lesson

The classes are customised for all levels, and all the necessary material will be provided to the student. Both videos of each class, as well as partitures / notes of harmony and musical theory created by myself. In each lesson, a part of theory of a specific scale (bulerías, soleá, rumba, tangos...) is taught and then practised on the guitar. After the class, the videos of what we have worked on the guitar with, will be sent in a video format, so that the student studies the notes of theory and the score at home. The lessons also provide a good practice to accompany the singer (cante) or the dancer (baile) and singing audios with guitar / without guitar are provided, in order to practise and correct mistakes, if they are made. On the student's request, there is a possibility of learning harmony and musical theory, so that the student can be independent and be able to improvise and compose. The classes are completely personalised, depending on the student's objectives and level.

Victor is a teacher flamenco & jazz guitar and music theory.
It's been 1 year now and I'm very happy with the way he executes his classes. Usually I would find it difficult to learn online, but his method is so good that I have excelled with my guitar skills thanks to him.
Besides the fact that he's such an experienced teacher in teaching and performing, he is the one of the few flamenco guitarist from Seville who can actually speak and teach in ENGLISH really well.
10/10 Victor is an all rounder when it comes to teaching, I would highly recommend him!
