About Lexine
Hello! My name is Lexine, and I’m a passionate tutor specialising in GCSE and IGCSE Chemistry and Maths. I achieved grade 9s in both subjects, as well as a 9 in Further Maths, and I’m currently studying Medicine. With over two years of tutoring experience — including teaching in an after-school programme — I’ve helped students of all abilities improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance.
I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation rather than rote memorisation, using clear explanations, real-world examples, and step-by-step guidance to make difficult topics accessible.
Beyond tutoring, I’ve participated in several international science competitions, which have strengthened my problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. I also work with ZNotes as an expert and content developer, creating high-quality educational resources used by students around the world.
As a medical student, I understand the importance of discipline, time management, and effective study strategies — all of which I share with my students. My lessons are tailored, engaging, and encouraging, helping every learner reach their full potential.

I teach all levels of maths, chemistry and biology up to GCSE. I focus on building foundational knowledge but also in noticing patterns in questions. Thus a usual lesson would have some starter questions followed by some teaching and exam practice during the teaching
