About Christopher
Hello! My name is Chris, I am a fourth year nuclear engineering student with many years of studying various branches of mathematics.
As a part of my tutoring method I aim to teach concepts in simple terms, taking concepts and breaking them into easier pieces.
Math can be a difficult topic to approach, building a solid understanding of the concepts is a crucial part of succeeding in the long term.

I offer two types of tutoring sessions: student guided lessons and tutor guided lessons with prepared material.
Student guided lesson $30/hour. These sessions are about reinforcing concepts and material that a student may be struggling with. The student brings material that they would like covered to the session, and if needed extra material will be provided to expand on the concepts.
Tutor guided lesson $50/hour. For these sessions I will prepare material based on the students requests (e.g. math prep for differential equations). This includes the basic material that is expected to be covered in the topic, expanding basic concepts to help build a better understanding, and personalized homework to target a students weaknesses and areas of interest.
I have studied all levels of math from the basics to calculus, statistic and introductory particle physics. This means I can explain the material thoroughly and adapt my teaching strategy to find out how you learn best.
