I have five years of experience teaching all ages, from kindergarten to grade 12.
My typical lesson plans include:
- demonstrations of new material
- working with the student to solve a couple of questions
- allowing the student to attempt solutions on their own
- correcting their solutions together
I believe the best way to learn is from mistakes, so this method allows me to identify where confusion might be coming from, and explain why it should be done differently.
My teaching methods will change slightly based on age and subject, but this general format allows me to efficiently determine how best to support the student.

Karolina is my sister and coworker at a tutoring academy. I know her teaching style to be friendly and welcoming. A successful psychology specialist at UofT, she helps her students succeed by offering a patient environment that makes them excited to learn.
I have been studying with Karolina at the University of Toronto for the last three years. She is a dedicated and hardworking student with experience in both tutoring and teaching children of all ages. I would strongly recommend her as a maths tutor.
