Friendly and Engaging Portuguese Tutor – Learn from a Fellow Language Learner and Teacher

Deadly! I honestly couldn’t recommend Ariel highly enough as a Portuguese tutor! ️

From the very beginning, she has been incredibly patient, encouraging and supportive, and I genuinely feel that my Portuguese is improving with every lesson. Even the small improvements are noticeable, which is really motivating and gives me much more confidence when speaking.

What I particularly appreciate is how much thought Ariel puts into every lesson. She doesn’t simply follow a textbook or give you exercises to complete — she finds creative and interesting ways to teach, practise and reinforce what you are learning. The lessons are varied, engaging and very well structured, while still feeling relaxed and enjoyable.

Ariel is also excellent at adapting the lessons to my level and needs. She explains things clearly, corrects my mistakes in a really positive way and gives me plenty of opportunities to practise actually using Portuguese rather than simply memorising vocabulary and grammar.

Most importantly, I genuinely look forward to my lessons. I never feel like I am simply "doing another language lesson"; I feel that I am making real progress, becoming more confident and actually enjoying the process of learning Portuguese.

If you are looking for a Portuguese tutor who is knowledgeable, patient, creative and genuinely invested in helping you improve, I would wholeheartedly recommend Ariel. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful teacher and I’m really excited to continue learning with her.

Deadly! Fantastic! I always wanted to learn Portuguese and Ariel is making my journey exciting and easier. Her calm nature really helps me understand simple concepts and she also gives tips on to pronounce certain words that I find hard. I will be coming back for more!
