About Daire
Hi, I’m a first-year Medicine student at Queen’s University Belfast, where I’m building on a strong academic foundation in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I achieved 3 A* at A-Level and have a clear understanding of what exam boards are looking for to achieve top grades.
I’m approachable, patient and genuinely enjoy helping others understand topics that can initially seem difficult. Having recently gone through GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I know the common challenges students face and how to overcome them effectively.
I take pride in being reliable and well-prepared for every lesson, and I’m committed to helping each student grow in both confidence and ability. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel comfortable and capable in their subjects.

My lessons are structured, engaging and tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I usually start by identifying areas of weakness, then break topics down into clear, manageable steps to build a strong understanding.
Each session focuses on active learning — working through examples together, followed by exam-style questions to apply knowledge and improve technique. I also share effective revision strategies, memory tips and exam approaches that helped me achieve 3 A* at A-Level.
Lessons are paced to suit the student, whether that means reinforcing the basics or pushing towards top grades. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence, which is key to achieving the best results.
