About Simone
Hi, I'm Simone! I specialise in VCE Biology, as well as secondary English, Maths and VCE English Language.
I have a Bachelor of Science (Genetics and Psychology) and a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy). You might say I love to learn, and hopefully that enthusiasm rubs off on you!
I believe that confidence makes a huge difference to how students approach their schoolwork. I love helping students recognise their strengths, overcome challenges and develop the skills to become more independent learners.
I've worked with students across all levels of secondary school, helping them improve their grades, build confidence in their abilities and develop more effective study habits.
My approach is friendly, patient and encouraging. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and tackling things they previously found intimidating.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to your individual strengths, interests and goals.
Whether you're working on understanding biological processes, mastering scientific terminology, interpreting data, applying concepts or preparing for SACs and exams, I'll help you identify the specific skills you need to improve.
I break complex biological concepts into smaller, manageable steps, helping you understand how different processes connect rather than simply memorising information.
For VCE Biology, I place particular emphasis on applying knowledge to unfamiliar questions, developing effective scientific responses and understanding what examiners are looking for.
My goal isn't simply to help you get better marks. It's to give you the tools to become a more confident, capable and independent student.
