About Eliza
As a dedicated Maths tutor with more than 7 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I have helped many students prepare for IB and A-Level examinations. My lessons are designed to simplify complexity by focusing on conceptual clarity. I emphasise the “why” behind mathematical rules, helping students develop deeper understanding. I specialise in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, areas where I provide both strong foundations and exam-ready skills. My teaching involves introducing multiple problem-solving techniques so students gain flexibility in their approach. Past paper practice plays a central role in lessons, giving learners the confidence to face exam-style questions. I also help students improve time management and accuracy under pressure. Every session is interactive, with questions encouraged and ideas explored. I adapt my teaching style to the needs of each student, ensuring that no one is left behind. Progress is measured step by step, reinforcing confidence with each new milestone. Mathematics becomes less of a challenge and more of a skill to master. My approach to Maths teaching is rooted in clarity and growth. I focus on making complex equations less intimidating by breaking them into smaller, understandable parts.
