About Davis Nicholo
I'm a recent graduate from the premier science high school in the Philippines with extensive engagement in olympiads, leadership, and exchange. Soon, I'll be pursuing my undergraduate studies in Chemical Science and Technology at Kyoto University as a KyotoU iUP scholar.
My academic interests revolve around chemistry, computer science and informatics, mathematics and mathematical modeling, engineering, and physics. I've been particularly engaged with the chemistry and informatics olympiads, having been ranked among the Top 10 in my country in both fields.
I also continue to engage with issues of local and global importance through my advocacy for quality education for the Filipino youth, and international exchange engagement, most of which are related to Japan (Sakura Science Exchange Program) and the Asia Pacific region (Hwa Chong Institution - APYLS).
I've had extensive freelance tutoring experience in math and science, having handled 8 tutees via one-on-one online sessions. I've helped all of them improve their class performance, with one of my tutees already studying in Canada.
