Using a Universal Design for learning, math and reading with me becomes accessible and engaging!
Our sessions will start with introductions and a standards-based questionnaire to find strengths and weaknesses. Lessons typically open with students' questions and 1-2 warm up questions based on questionnaire data and classroom data. We will use a variety of strategies, including technology, drawings, manipulatives, and memorization techniques. Our goal is to become proficient and confident in elementary or middle school math and reading.
