About Davey
I have a first class Honors degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Oncology. Currently I am a fulltime teacher in a school in north London. I teach KS3 and KS4, but I can teach KS5 in Chemistry and Biology also.

I teach mostly by asking questions, assessing prior knowledge, and giving tasks to students to encourage self-learning. I have mid-session plenaries to assess understanding of the topics, and finally some exam-style questions at the end. I encourage the students to self-assess their understanding and build up resilience and resourcefulness in their learning.
