About Luke
Hello there, my name is Luke and I am a 34 year old experienced Primary School teacher from Devon in the UK. I have been teaching since 2009 and am fully qualified to teach a range of Primary subjects. I studied the 4 year Primary education degree at Leeds Metropolitan university. I have taught in schools in the UK and at British international schools in Egypt, Brazil, China, Vietnam and Mexico. I have taught children with many different nationalities and from different backgrounds and cultures. I am fully knowledgeable in the British national curriculum, International Primary curriculum (IPC) and have some experience with the American and Australian curriculums. My teaching style has been described as lively, exciting and engaging. I have a proven track record for raising attainment in English and Maths and have always been very successful in every school I have worked in. I have also had middle management roles where I have developed curriculum and assessment structures and implemented them into schools. I have taught children one on one and given extra tuition to students needing help in particular primary subjects and helped children through exams such as their SATS tests. Over my many years of teaching experience, I have taught from year 1 up to year 6. To whom it may concern,
Luke tutored my children for a couple of terms back in 2013 whilst he was working in New Zealand. Luke was amazingly structured with the children and easy for them to relate to.
