About Jessica

Whilst growing up, acting and music were my passion so from the age of 5 I regularly attended drama classes outside of school. My love for theatre continued so I decided to take GCSE and A-Level Drama where I achieved an A for both. Whilst in sixth form, I did one of the NYT acting for screen courses (which I thoroughly loved) and it was there that I discovered what actor musicianship was. I had a year to prepare for my drama school audition so I completely understand the stress and pressure when it comes to applying for drama school... however I got into drama school on my first year of auditioning! At drama school I learnt a vast range of techniques, skills, practitioners and more that I still use now after graduating and would love to impart that knowledge onto you too! I graduated drama school a year ago with a first and since then I have had some professional acting jobs around the U.K. When I am not acting, I love to teach and have taught a range of musical instruments, singing and acting.

About the lesson

Having taught drama, singing and music for over 5 years, I am an experienced actor and teacher with a BA in Actor Musicianship at the Guildford School of Acting. In previous years, I have taught Lamda exams, helped with drama school audition preparation and also taught children from the ages of 4-18 in regular drama classes.

However, I typically work with students of all ages, whether that be a student wanting to prepare for drama school auditions, help with self-tape auditions, or just someone wanting to improve their acting skills and confidence.

Lessons are completely tailored to you - typically lessons are between half an hour and an hour but that can be altered depending on your needs!
