About Meysun
Hi, I’m Meysun! :) I’m a foundation doctor working in Oxford with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. Having achieved top grades at GCSE and A-level myself (A*-A grades), I understand the challenges students face and know what it takes to excel. My passion for science and problem-solving has driven me to pursue medicine, and I enjoy sharing this enthusiasm with my students. I’ve spent lots of time tutoring peers and younger students, so I know how to adapt my teaching style to suit individual learning needs. I’m friendly, patient, and committed to helping you reach your academic goals while building your confidence along the way. My lessons typically last 1 hour, but I’m willing to adjust based on your specific needs. In my sessions, I focus on: - Firstly getting to know my student so I can adjust my sessions to a structure that they’re happy with but will also push and challenge them to achieve their goals. - Breaking down complex concepts into clear, understandable steps. - Strengthening problem-solving skills with exam-focused practice and mock questions. - Providing tips and strategies to tackle challenging exam questions effectively. - Building your confidence and making learning enjoyable. Whether you're struggling with tricky topics or aiming for top grades, my goal is to help you succeed. I also share insights from my studies that got me into medical school to show how these subjects apply in real-world contexts, adding an extra layer of understanding and inspiration.
