About Chloe
I am a cardiovascular research student with a strong academic background in biological sciences and a genuine passion for understanding how the human body works.
Having spent years studying complex scientific concepts, I understand how challenging Biology can feel at GCSE and A-Level.
I’m motivated to tutor because I enjoy helping students understand biology rather than just memorise it. Having seen how others found school challenging, I want to support students in building confidence, improving exam performance, and realising that they are capable of doing well in biology with the right guidance.
Outside of my studies, I do weightlifting and have played many sports growing up. I also love watching films and listening to music.

My teaching approach is structured, interactive, and highly exam-focused. I break complex biological concepts into clear, logical steps and use diagrams, active recall, and exam-style questions to reinforce understanding.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you’re aiming to pass confidently or push for top grades, I adapt the pace, depth, and focus of sessions accordingly.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, which allows enough time to review previous content, cover new material and practice exam questions with time for feedback in each session. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed, particularly closer to exams.
I have a strong academic background in biological sciences and currently specialise in cardiovascular research. I have experience tutoring and teaching GCSE biology which makes me believe I will be successful in tutoring students who require extra help learning. During this role, I interacted with students and helped answer their questions to the best of my ability. I enjoyed learning how to best influence young people to build a passion for science. I would lead small group tasks and occasionally a small section of a lesson.
