About Omar
I am currently in my 4th year of studying Medicine at the University of Birmingham and I am currently based in Harborne, near the QE hospital. I am looking to tutor GCSE and A-Level science subjects, with a special interest in Biology and Psychology.
I have a real passion for my subjects and I am duly equipped and qualified to teach them to students at their own pace. My teaching style is flexible and I will take into account my student’s learning needs and integrate this into our sessions. I am also well adept at teaching students effective revision techniques, ones which I have learned and picked up myself whilst studying.
I understand a lot about the GCSE and higher education system, having just come out of it myself, and therefore I have relevant knowledge about what is required of GCSE and A-Level students in order to secure the top marks.
In addition to teaching students science and maths, I can also offer tailored advice to any students who are thinking of applying to medicine by helping them with personal statements and interview preparation.
