About Maria
I graduated in Biomedical Sciences from King's College London and I am currently undertaking a Master's in Clinical Neuroscience at UCL. Through both degrees I have developed a deep understanding of biology, from GCSE foundations through to human physiology and disease. Biology is a subject I have loved since school where I achieved an A* at GCSE and an A at A-level.

My first priority in every session is to understand where you are struggling and why, so that every session is tailored specifically to your needs and learning style. From there we will work through a topic together, breaking it down step by step in a way that suits your learning style. Once you feel confident and the understanding is there we turn it into marks. We will work through past paper questions and go through the mark scheme together so you have an understanding of not just the biology, but how to gain full marks. Every session ends with a clear focus on what to work on before we next meet.
