GCSE Chemistry. Qualified Teacher. I Mark *REAL* GCSE science exam papers for the UK's largest exam board. My lessons boost grades !

The small-group classes with Mr Miller have been fantastic for my daughter, and the results have been incredible.

She joined Steven’s Biology, Chemistry and Physics small groups quite late, after Year 11 had already been underway for some time. At first, we weren’t sure whether small-group lessons would work for her, or whether she should focus only on the subject she found most difficult. In the end, we decided to try all three for a few weeks — and I’m so glad we did!

In less than a year, my daughter improved by three grades in all three sciences. The difference in both her understanding and confidence was amazing.

Thank you, Steven, for your knowledge, teaching skills and the way you make learning so easy. My only regret is that we didn’t find you sooner!

I would highly recommend giving his small group lessons a try. Steven is not only an excellent teacher, but also a genuinely lovely person. He clearly knows his subjects inside out, explains things in a way that students understand, and my daughter has learned a huge amount from him.

We couldn’t be happier with the results!

Excellent results! Steven is a skilled and patient tutor who helped our son to greatly improve his grades. I'm sure he can do the same for your child too, highly recommended.

We honestly cannot recommend Steven highly enough. Our daughter was struggling with both Maths and Science, and before starting tutoring with him she was achieving grades around 4s and 5s.
She had tutoring with him for Maths and all three Sciences, and the difference has been remarkable. He has an excellent way of explaining difficult topics in a way that actually makes sense, and, just as importantly, he built our daughter’s confidence and also helped her understand how to approach exam questions and use exam techniques.
The results speak for themselves: she achieved Grade 9s and 8’s in every subject he tutored her in — Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. To go from grades 4/5 to Grade 8/9s is an incredible improvement, and we genuinely believe his teaching and support played a huge part in achieving it.
He is knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and clearly understands what is required to succeed in GCSE exams. Our daughter looked forward to her lessons and, for the first time, became confident that she could achieve the grades she wanted.
If you are a parent looking for a tutor who can make a real difference to your child’s understanding, confidence and GCSE results, we would strongly recommend Steven. We are extremely grateful for everything he did to help our daughter achieve results that, at teh beginning of her GCSE journey seemed almost impossible. Thank you so much Steven!

Steven is an outstanding teacher who has made a significant positive difference to the grades and confidence of the children he has taught GCSE Science and Maths. He is honest, reliable, and patient. I have worked with him in school for many years and he is a trustworthy, highly skilled and excellent teacher. He makes the difficult and complicated parts of science easy! 5 stars out of 5 !
