About Ryan
I’m a Sport, Health and Physical Education graduate and currently training to become a PE teacher. Alongside this, I work in a golf shop and I’m also completing my Level 3 Personal Training and Nutrition qualification, so I’m constantly developing my knowledge in both sport and fitness.
I’m a big believer that learning works best when it’s enjoyable and relatable, so I bring a lot of energy, humour, and real-life examples into my sessions. I’m also always learning myself, which helps me understand exactly what students are going through and how to explain things in a way that actually makes sense.
Outside of teaching and fitness, I’m a massive football fan and support Aston Villa — so there’s always a good chance football examples will sneak into lessons!
Overall, I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable, stay engaged, and build confidence in their understanding

My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and easy to understand — no boring lectures or just reading from a textbook.
I like to keep things relaxed and enjoyable, using a bit of humour to help students feel comfortable and confident. At the same time, I make sure we stay focused on what actually matters for exams.
We’ll break down complex topics into simple, clear explanations, and I’ll regularly check your understanding through questions, quick quizzes, and discussion — so you’re always involved, not just listening.
I also tailor each session to the student, whether that’s:
- Revising key GCSE or A-Level PE topics
- Improving exam technique and answering questions effectively
- Building confidence in areas you find difficult
The goal is simple: help you understand the content, enjoy the process, and feel confident going into your exams.
