About Tiwa
Hi, I'm Tiwa! I'm currently a university student with a strong interest in education and helping young people succeed academically.
I achieved a grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics and have experience as an academic mentor, supporting students aged 10–16 with their learning and development.
I'm naturally patient, approachable and encouraging, and I enjoy finding ways to make difficult concepts easier to understand. Having been through GCSEs myself, I know how challenging they can sometimes feel, and I hope to make that experience a little easier for the students I support.
Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, art and exploring new interests. I believe learning should be something students feel excited about, not intimidated by, and I look forward to helping them discover what they're capable of achieving.

I believe every student can make progress in Maths with the right guidance, encouragement and support. Having achieved a grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics and gained experience mentoring students aged 10–16, I understand the importance of adapting explanations to different learning needs.
My approach is patient, supportive and focused on helping students genuinely understand mathematical concepts rather than simply memorising methods. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, overcoming challenges and developing the skills to tackle exam questions independently.
Whether your child needs help strengthening their foundations, understanding difficult topics or preparing for their GCSE exams, my goal is to make Maths feel more manageable, build their confidence and help them work towards their full potential.

Details
My GCSE Maths lessons are priced at £20 per hour, with discounted packages available for students who would like regular support.
A 5-hour package costs £95, while a 10-hour package costs £185.
All lessons take place online, with no additional charges for learning materials. I provide relevant practice questions, exam-style exercises and resources tailored to each student's needs.
Each lesson lasts 60 minutes, and students are welcome to book individual sessions or packages depending on their learning goals and availability.
