About William
Hi, I’m Will! I tutor GCSE Maths with a focus on confidence, understanding, and problem-solving. A few years ago, I struggled with Maths myself, but with the right guidance, I went from failing to top grades. I now use that same approach to help my students succeed. Over the past few months, I’ve tutored a student who improved their scores significantly, and I aim to help every student build both skills and confidence in the subject. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, structured but relaxed, and online.

I tutor GCSE Maths (Years 7–11) with a focus on making the subject understandable, natural, and maybe even fun!
Lessons usually last 45–60 minutes, with most of the time spent actively working through questions. We start by introducing a new topic together, then practise a few questions as a team. After that, the student tries some independently so I can see what’s clear and what needs more practice. From there, we either move on to harder questions or review tricky areas.
I scored an 8 at GCSE, an A at A Level, and I’m currently studying Financial Mathematics at the University of Leeds. I bring both personal experience and proven methods to help students build confidence and improve their results.
