About Tazmin

Hello, I am Tazmin, a Geography and GIS tutor with a strong academic interest in remote sensing, environmental studies, and disaster management. My work mainly focuses on spatial analysis, satellite image interpretation, forest fire assessment, urban sprawl and environmental applications using GIS and remote sensing techniques.

I enjoy helping students understand complex concepts in a simple and practical way. I believe learning becomes more effective when theory is connected with real-world examples and hands-on applications. My lessons are designed to build both conceptual understanding and analytical skills.

I have experience working with tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, and satellite datasets including Sentinel and Landsat imagery. I am especially interested in research-based learning and supporting students with academic projects, assignments, and dissertation-related work.

I aim to create a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in geography, GIS, and environmental analysis.

About the lesson

Hello, I am Tazmin, a Geography and GIS tutor with a strong interest in remote sensing, environmental studies, and disaster management. My lessons are designed to help students understand both theoretical concepts and practical applications using real-world examples and spatial data analysis.

I teach Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, Google Earth Engine, QGIS, ArcGIS, environmental mapping, and disaster management for school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students. I also help students with research projects, dissertations, map preparation, data interpretation, and basic scientific writing related to geography and environmental studies.

My teaching approach is interactive and step-by-step. I focus on concept clarity first and then move toward practical applications. Depending on the student’s level, lessons will include:

* Concept explanation with visual examples
* GIS and remote sensing practical sessions
* Spatial data analysis and mapping
* Satellite image interpretation
* Research methodology guidance
* Assignment and project support

A typical lesson usually begins with understanding the student’s current level and goals. Then I explain the topic using simple methods, practical demonstrations, and exercises to improve understanding and confidence.

What makes my lessons different is the combination of academic geography with practical GIS and remote sensing applications. I aim to make complex topics easier to understand while helping students develop analytical and research skills useful for higher studies and future careers.

Lessons are suitable for:

* School and university students
* Geography and environmental science students
* Beginners in GIS and remote sensing
* Students working on dissertations or research projects
* Learners interested in spatial analysis and environmental applications
