About Hetta
Having studied social justice for a number of years I understand that education is one of the most important tools we have to make the world a more equal and better place. I want to teach because I want to help people achieve their full potential. I believe everyone has the ability to be a great student of both Geography and Politics with the right tools, they just need to learn to think with a geographical and political lens. I myself struggled with this at university since our education system often doesn't teach us how to gain this lens, it only teaches us to memorise answers instead of creating own. I want to help students find ways to create their own answers and understand the questions they are being asked and the answers they are given fully. If a student asks 'Why?' I will never shut them down, I will always find an explanation.

I will completely cater my teaching style, the content included, and the feedback required based on the student's needs. Whether that be stripping topics right back to the basics and then building onto more complex areas or providing feedback and advice for essay writing when the student has already grasped the topic well, I am happy to cater the lessons to your needs.
The typical lesson length will be 45 minutes but I am happy to do longer lessons if the student wishes.
I helped tutor younger pupils when I was in school and helped at peer support at university. I have also worked as a teaching assistant summer camps and am currently at the start of completing my PGDE.
My lessons are for anyone aged 11 and above.
