About Caley
When I was younger, I struggled with seizures during my early school years, which made retaining and understanding information difficult. I spent a lot of time in extra lessons myself, and that experience has given me a genuine understanding of how frustrating learning can feel when information just isn’t clicking.
It has also shaped the kind of tutor I want to be.
I work calmly and patiently, at the pace of each individual learner. I focus on breaking difficult concepts down into simpler ideas, using repetition to strengthen understanding and retention, and helping learners find study methods and tools that actually work for them.
Most importantly, I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, getting things wrong, and trying again. My aim isn't simply to help them memorise Geography for a test, but to help them understand it — and hopefully begin to see how Geography helps make the world around us make sense.

I have been tutoring since 2016 and, during that time, have worked with learners with a wide range of personalities, strengths and learning styles.
My lessons are calm, encouraging and adapted to the individual learner. I believe progress is most effective when a student feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through concepts at their own pace.
I focus on building a strong understanding of the subject through explanation, repetition and practice, while also helping learners develop useful study techniques they can apply independently.
I am patient, persistent and genuinely invested in the progress of my students. If a concept isn’t making sense, I’m happy to approach it from a different angle until we find a way of explaining it that clicks.
My goal is steady, constructive progress — not just improving marks, but helping learners become more confident in their own ability to understand and learn Geography.
