About Nessa
With an MSc in Actuarial Science and over 6 years of teaching experience, I bring both academic expertise and a passion for mentoring to mathematics. My career has been dedicated to helping students build problem-solving confidence through workshops and one-on-one coaching. I have directed problem-solving sessions that emphasize logical deduction and critical analysis. Preparing students for competitions has been one of my most rewarding experiences, as I’ve watched learners grow in skill and determination. My teaching style is highly structured, where each concept builds directly on the one before. I place strong emphasis on algebra because it provides the foundation for calculus, geometry, and statistics. In calculus, I guide students carefully through the logic of differentiation and integration. For geometry, I highlight proof-based reasoning, showing how clarity of thought leads to confidence.
