About Raniyah

Hi, I’m Raniyah — a passionate and friendly GCSE science tutor specialising in Biology and Chemistry. I achieved a 7/8 in Combined Science and have always had a natural interest in breaking down complex topics and helping others understand them in simple, relatable ways.
As someone who’s been through the GCSE journey myself not too long ago, I know how stressful it can feel. That’s why I bring patience, encouragement, and a calm energy to every session. I focus on building confidence as much as knowledge, because I believe both are key to success.

Whether you're aiming to secure a solid pass or reach those top grades, I’ll meet you where you’re at and guide you forward with clear explanations, targeted practice, and no judgement. I’m approachable, organised, and committed to helping you feel more in control of your learning.

About the lesson

I offer relaxed but focused tutoring sessions for GCSE students who want to boost their confidence in Biology and Chemistry. My teaching style is approachable and flexible – I break things down in simple terms, use real-life examples to explain tricky topics, and tailor lessons to fit each student’s needs and learning style. Whether you’re aiming for a pass or pushing for a grade 8/9, I’ve got you.

I create a calm, judgement-free space where students can ask questions, go over exam technique, and actually understand the content – not just memorise it.

I achieved a 7/8 in GCSE Combined Science, with my strengths in Biology and Chemistry. I know the curriculum well and understand what it's like to feel overwhelmed by science. That’s why I teach in a way that feels supportive, not stressful.

My lessons are best for GCSE students (ages 13–16) of all levels, especially those who need a bit more clarity, encouragement, or structure in their revision.
