About Gethin

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have coached and taught students for over a decade. I have taught Drama A-Level, tutored LAMDA examination students between the ages of 6 and 18 years old and haves several years experience teaching acting at Stagecoach, and coaching actors for auditions and drama school applications.

Since graduating LAMDA in 2009 my film and television credits include:

MANHUNT (NETFLIX), AQUARIUS (NBC), GAME OF THRONES (HBO), THE MAGICIANS (SYFY) CALL THE MIDWIFE (BBC), KODACHROME (NETFLIX), INTO THE STORM (HBO/BBC), COPENHAGEN (Fidelio), 10 DAYS TO WAR( BBC),
PINOCHET'S PROGRESS (BBC/Tiger Aspect).

My theatre credits include:
A LIFE OF GALILEO (RSC), BORIS GODUNOV (RSC), CARROT (Theatre 503/Latitude),
IN PRAISE OF LOVE (Theatre Royal Northampton), DITCH (High Tide/Old Vic Tunnels),

About the lesson

My name is Gethin, a 38 year old professional actor, I have trained at LAMDA (1st Class Hons BA Professional Acting) and studied English Literature and Language at Oxford University (BA Hons).

I have a wealth of experience on the stage, screen and in voice work. My career and training have taken me all over the world to work with some incredible people and I would love to share what I have learned with you.

My approach with all my clients is to identify what they need in order that I can delve into my toolbox of skills and share what's most useful to each specific individual.

SUBJECTS:

Acting
- Scene Breakdown

Drama School Audition preparation
- Monologue/Scene selection

- Analysis into realised performance

English Literature (up to A-Level)
- One-on-one coaching on connecting with curriculum texts
- Finding the fun in clarifying responses to match exam criteria

LAMDA Examinations
- I have several years experience coaching students of all ages all the
way through the LAMDA examination process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

LAMDA (1st Class BA Hons Professional Acting)
English Literature and Language at Oxford University (2nd Class BA Hons)

FEE:

Every first session is free and lessons are £50 an hour thereafter.

LOCATION and TRAVEL:

I teach from home in my apartment in LONDON, E5.
I am currently online taking inline bookings

AVAILABILITY:

I am available throughout the week from 9am - 6pm and flexible regarding appointment times.

CLIENTS:

I teach any aspiring actor, student of English and drama from the age 11 years old upwards.

DBS:

I have a valid DBS certificate, issued January 2019
