About Abby
My name is Abigail and I'm a third-year student at the University of Toronto! I major in Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies, and Philosophy. My research interests are primarily human rights, political economy and global history that I use for my engagement in social science research, peace coalitions and journalism.
Alongside school I geek out over fashion design and videography, putting on student-based fashion shows with my friends each year. And outside of school I love travelling, skin care, and getting coffee with my friends- iced vanilla lattes are my go-to :)

I provide supplemental instruction, writing help and subject tutoring. My sessions are discussion-based focusing on intentional listening and questioning methods that guide students to draw out connections in the material based on their current knowledge.
My lessons will provide a comprehensive understanding of geography broadly or in relation to how sociology, law and international relations intersect with the field. This approach can help you to seek greater patterns among the material you learn in school, your own life and the world around you, making assignments more engaging!
I am charismatic, empathetic and patient as a tutor while possessing excellent communication, knowledge and writing skill that allow me to break down material in a digestible way for students.
My tutoring is tailored best for middle school to first year undergraduate students through its focus on human geography and related disciplines.
