About Koorosh
I am a full-time research assistant at Salk Institute who applied for medical schools this year. I have been a teaching assistant at UCSD for subjects such as Genetics, Molecular Biology, Circadian Biology, DNA Recombinant techniques. I also used to have private students for subjects such as chemistry and mathematics. I do enjoy teaching to prepare students in the field of science.

I always want to engage students in their learning and boost their critical thinking skills. I usually lecture for a small portion time of the class and then come up with a problem set. Then ask students to apply what they just learned to answer the questions. While they are answering questions, I will guide them and make sure they have proper thought procedure to answer the questions.
