About Angelica
My name is Angelica, I am 20 years old and I am currently at the University of the Arts London studying Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Performance. Although my current degree is very different to Maths, I have always had a passion for transferring my maths passion into creative projects. For my A-Levels I studied Maths, Fine Art and Fashion and Textiles (A, A* and AS). During my time in college, I was employed by the college's tutoring group to help other students who were struggling to pass their GCSE maths. I enjoy tutoring others as it's rewarding to see how far my students grow and discover new confidence with maths. I am very passionate about Maths and it makes me so excited to spread that through my students. My aspirations for the future are to explore rewarding jobs in accounting while also working as a wig maker in theatres!

My Maths lessons are individually tailored to the needs of each student. We all learn in different ways - some students learn visually, others benefit from clear oral explanations, while others need to physically explore mathematical concepts. Together we work through the problems the student is having and this helps me to understand how best to tailor my lessons. I usually suggest 40-60 minute sessions, however, the length of the lesson depends on the student's needs and preferences. My lessons welcome any age that is focussing on their GCSE maths or below.
