About Henry
My name is Henry Oppong, and I am a dedicated biology teacher with a background in agricultural biotechnology. Teaching is not just a profession for me—it is a calling. Science shapes the world around us, and I believe that by understanding biology, students gain the power to explore, question, and innovate. My goal as a tutor is to make biology engaging, accessible, and deeply relevant to everyday life. With two years of experience as a home teacher, I have worked with secondary-level students, particularly those preparing for their GCSEs. I understand that every student learns at their own pace, which is why I tailor my lessons to individual needs. My sessions range from one to two hours, allowing students the time they need to truly grasp complex biological concepts. I integrate modern teaching techniques such as interactive discussions, real-world applications, and digital tools to ensure lessons are not only informative but also exciting and thought-provoking. I adapt lesson duration (1-2 hours) to student grasp, fostering confidence and mastery in GCSE Biology. I'm a graduate of Agric-biotechnology. I have 2 years of teaching experience as a home teacher, currently teaching secondary level students biology especially GCSE students. I also have experience in teaching SEN students to achieve the best result in mathematics and science.
