I am a graduate of Arts University Bournemouth where I studied Photography. I teach all ages up to A-Level and can teach online and in person.

About Laura
When I told my parents I wanted to do photography, I was told absolutely not and that I should study a more 'serious' subject. I fought to study it and haven't looked back since.
My tutors at school inspired me- I had found a subject that no longer felt like a chore and a way to both express myself and learn about the world.
In an age of social media, where we are bombarded with hundreds of images daily, semiotics, the art of decoding these images, has never been more important.

I can teach the theoretical side of photography and its history as well as the technical side. Lessons will vary accordingly and can be tailored to your needs. I like to take a fun and visual approach to my lessons as thats what we are here for!
My interests lie primarily in documentary style photography and abstraction. My dissertation was on queering photography.
