About Kenny
I want to teach because I enjoy helping others develop confidence and achieve their academic goals. Throughout my own studies, I have seen how much of a difference a good teacher can make in turning difficult topics into something understandable and enjoyable. Mathematics and Biology are subjects that I am passionate about, and I find it rewarding to help students overcome challenges and experience those moments when concepts finally “click.”
As I have once been a student myself, I understand the pressures of exams and coursework, and I can relate to the difficulties that many learners face. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students build problem-solving skills, independent learning habits, and confidence in their abilities. Seeing students make progress and reach their potential is what motivates me to teach.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. I focus on building a strong understanding of core concepts in Mathematics and Biology, rather than simply memorising facts or procedures. I use a step-by-step teaching approach, breaking down complex topics into manageable parts and encouraging students to actively engage with the material through guided practice, discussion, and exam-style questions.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. Each lesson is structured to include explanation of key concepts, worked examples, practice questions, and review of any areas where the student may need additional support.
I am currently a graduate with a strong academic background in Mathematics and Biology, and I understand the challenges students face when learning these subjects.
My lessons are suitable for students studying GCSEs, and younger secondary school pupils who want to improve their understanding, boost their confidence, or achieve higher grades. Whether a student is aiming to strengthen their foundations or excel in examinations, I provide patient, supportive, and personalised guidance to help them succeed.
