About Vishal

Hi! My name's Vish, I am a graduate medic at the University of Swansea having finished my undergrad in Physics and Philosophy. As someone who's applied for medicine 3 times, I can only empathise towards the difficulties that lie in the way of achieving that goal of becoming a doctor, and it's my aim to help you get there! Having taken the GAMSAT, UCAT and IMAT, I have a good understanding of how the aptitude tests used in medicine work and what is expected. Having already taken the UCAT and IMAT previously, I was able to apply my knowledge to get in the top 5% of all GAMSAT applicants in my first attempt of sitting the exam. I have had extensive experience in teaching and use an adaptive teaching model for my GAMSAT students. Message me to learn more!

About the lesson

All lesson plans will be tailored towards each student individually, primarily by focusing in on areas of weakness and targeting them first. Having had experience tutoring many students across the world for the GAMSAT and for medical interviews/applications, I've honed my skill in adapting my teaching method for each student, so that they get lessons that are personalised for them rather than generic lesson plans. The Plan: In our first free session, we will begin by putting together a brief guideline of what we are going to cover as well as a target mark you want to achieve. Should you choose to have more lessons, we will then make a start on going through questions together for each of the sections of the GAMSAT so that we can go over exam technique and also for me to see your method of tackling these questions. In addition to that, I'll be setting weekly homework to see how you are doing and to track your progress. That was a lot of words! Without wasting any more time, if you want a tutor that creates engaging, personalised lessons and who has had much experience with the ins and outs of GAMSAT; then give me a shot :)
