About Benn
I am a graduate of ASU with a 4.0 GPA in biomedical sciences. I have 3 years working as a tutor in multiple subjects. Namely biology and chemistry. I am currently applying to medical school with over 100 hours of 1-on-1 tutoring.
My areas of focus are on biology, molecular biology, cellular biology, genetics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, anatomy, immunology, physiology, and physics 1 (general mechanics).

If there's anything I know how to do, it's how to study. I graduated with a 4.0 and understand how/what to study for in any course.
College and high school courses are just one big game! Once you know how to play and what to study it becomes easy to navigate.
If you hire me as your tutor this is what my tutoring will look like:
1. We will discuss what you hope to achieve (certain GPA, class grade, content struggles, long-term plans, etc)
2. Then I will tailor a map or game plan for you. This may look like dissecting the syllabus in order to understand where the biggest emphasis is in a class. Or we might map out a strategy for content struggles.
3. Then we will hit those goals hard! I can break down content to the smallest detail or we will step back and look at the big picture. Depending on the class or goal, the strategies will change, but your grades will only go up!

1. I have been experimenting with different learning and tutoring techniques for years! This gamified version that I have developed brought me from a 3.6 GPA in high school to a 4.0 GPA in university.
2. I have received plenty of tutoring myself. I'm not perfect and also needed help. Tutoring comes in many forms and from being on both ends of this topic I know what works and what doesn't work.
3. I have ADHD. It's been my most difficult burden to overcome. Living with and studying with this diagnosis is not the same as everyone else. I know the difficulty this might bring, but I also know what has worked for me and what I currently do while studying with ADHD. It can be overcome!
