About Anvika
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree at UTS in Sydney, and I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, solving problems and helping others understand concepts that initially seem difficult.
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy seeing that moment when something finally “clicks” for a student. I know that math can sometimes feel overwhelming when you don’t understand a particular concept, and I want to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace.
For me, tutoring isn’t just about helping a student get the right answer. It’s about helping them develop the confidence and problem-solving skills to figure things out independently. I’d love the opportunity to support students in their learning and make math a subject they feel more comfortable and confident with.

I’m patient, approachable and believe that every student can improve when maths is explained in a way that makes sense to them.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, learning style and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals first, then working through problems step-by-step so students understand why a method works, not just how to get the answer. I also encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes and learn from them without feeling pressured or judged.
My personal approach is to make maths feel less intimidating and more achievable. I aim to build both skills and confidence, so students can eventually approach problems independently and feel proud of their progress. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for an exam, or simply becoming more confident in maths, I adapt each lesson to what they need most.
