About Aarya
My name is Aarya Ganesan and I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in India for most of my life. I am graduate from Berklee College of Music which really enhanced my professional skills as a musicians and as a mentor. I believe that music should be passed on and shared through educators to make it a universal practice and enhance the music world's talent. Very excited to work with people who share the same passion for music as I do!

My lessons are usually catered toward what the student's goal is. However, my approach is similar regardless. I strongly believe that understanding music academically leads to being a better performer. Understanding the music is equally as important as singing the music.
It is vital to focus on technique to sharpen skills and I like to achieve this by having the student bring in music they feel strongly about while pitching in some pieces of my own. This balance will help the student relate to the music they are performing while also learning about new songs that I bring! I will also teach many exercises to strengthen one's ability to increase the complexity in their delivery.
I teach all levels - for singing, I focus on more contemporary styles like Pop, Jazz, RnB, Soul etc. For piano, I teach both classical repertoire as well as contemporary music!
