About Sarisha
As a young kid, sometimes I wouldn't understand certain concepts and I used to come home and cry about this to my mother and father. After considering several options, my parents decided to send me to a Kumon center. Kumon completely changed my life because I was finally able to ask people questions! I stopped crying and became more confident.
All I know is that a tutor can change your life in a positive way, and if I'm able to do that for someone and reduce their stress, then it is nothing less than an honor.Ever since I was a sophomore in high school, I've been tutoring students in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. I've had a lot of teachers tell me that I'm a very stubborn person in the sense that I will not stop asking questions until I don't figure out the correct approach. I have had more than 200 hours tutoring for students struggling in math classes.

Hi! My name is Sarisha and I am an undergrad pursuing a degree at UC Davis. I love and love to teach students! Dopamine rushes to my brain when a student tells me that they finally understand a topic. I have had more than 500 plus tutoring hours in high school and I have also worked at tutoring centers such as Kumon, C2, etc.My major at UC Davis is genetics and genomics. When I was in high school, I took extra classes that made me explore biology in a different way. I learned how to name bones in the human body, I learned the different systems and autoimmune disorders, etc. In Junior year, I took AP Biology and passed the AP Exam with flying colors. I got nothing less than an A in my biology classes.
