About Katie
I have been out of college for several years now, and I've worked a number of different jobs. The ones I have enjoyed the most have an intersection of science and education. I've discovered one of the most fulfilling things for me is helping others learn and succeed. Learning hasn't always been easy for me, so I understand what it means to struggle and work hard in school to do well. I hope I can help ease the learning process for you so you can find success in school.

I will tailor my lessons to you. A typical lesson plan begins with a little bit of review from previous information we have covered/you have covered in class. From there, we will go into new topics. Depending on how you learn, there will be diagrams, verbal explanations, or activities for participation. At the end, we will wrap up with another round of review. My job is not only to help you learn the material, but understand it. Understanding concretes this information in your brain better than memorization.
